El grupo Patología Quirúrgica U.S., desarrolla investigaciones enfocadas al diagnostico y evaluación de patologías quirúrgicas bajo diferentes metodologías con el fin de generar productos de alta calidad metodológica que ayuden en la toma de decisiones (revisiones sistemáticas de la literatura) y en los efectos que dichas decisiones tengan sobre el paciente y el entorno (calidad de vida, costo-efectividad).
