El grupo de investigación en Energía, Materiales y Ambiente (GEMA) forma personas comprometidas con la actividad científica en el área de Energía, Materiales y Ambiente, a través de un proceso de formación investigativa que permita potenciar la capacidad creativa de los profesores y estudiantes, proponer proyectos de investigación, desarrollarlos y socializar los resultados ante la comunidad en general con miras a contribuir en nuevos desarrollos científicos y tecnológicos.
