Organization profile
El grupo de investigación en Energía, Materiales y Ambiente (GEMA) forma personas comprometidas con la actividad científica en el área de Energía, Materiales y Ambiente, a través de un proceso de formación investigativa que permita potenciar la capacidad creativa de los profesores y estudiantes, proponer proyectos de investigación, desarrollarlos y socializar los resultados ante la comunidad en general con miras a contribuir en nuevos desarrollos científicos y tecnológicos. El grupo contribuye con la formación de profesores y estudiantes de la Universidad de la Sabana en sus distintos campos del saber, asumiendo un compromiso social y científico con la comunidad en general.El fomento al desarrollo de Semilleros de Investigación, la motivación del grupo de Investigación hacia la interdisciplinariedad en sus estudios, al trabajo en equipo y a una disposición permanente para la conformación de redes de cooperación nacional e internacional, serán las características principales en la búsqueda constante de aportes científicos para el desarrollo de los materiales en tecnologías emergentes.
