Análisis, Solución Y Aplicaciones De Ecuaciones Diferenciales Estocásticas En Ciencias E Ingeniería.

Project: Project Research

Project Details

Description

Layman's description

Generally, deterministic models are used to study various science and engineeering problems under the assumption that the rate of change of the quantity studied is affected only by non-random mechanisms. However, it is ignored that this quantities are affected by the variability of the environment which cannot be easily modeled. Ignoring these phenomena affects the estimation of the parameters of mathematical models and therefore their conclusions. This project proposes models based on stochastic diffferential equations that take into account the variability of the environment. The advantage of the proposed models is that they can be statistically validated and offer the possibility not only of predicting the realistic path of the solution but also the uncertainty of the prediction.
