En Colombia existe la Ley 1733 de 2014 de cuidados paliativos y varias resoluciones que reglamentan la disponibilidad de opioides, la prestación de servicios y la educación. A pesar de lo anterior existe la percepción que esto no ha mejorado la prestación del servicio para los pacientes de las ciudades y de las regiones apartadas.Con una metodología mixta ( cuanti-cuali) y con la participación de actores de las diferentes regiones y diferentes áreas relacionadas con cuidados paliativos se busca generar propuestas para fortalecer la prestación de servicios en cada región del país

In Colombia, there is Law 1733 of 2014 on palliative care and several resolutions that regulate the availability of opioids, the provision of services and education. Despite the foregoing, there is a perception that this has not improved service delivery for patients in cities and remote regions.With a mixed methodology (quanti-quali) and with the participation of actors from different regions and different areas related to palliative care, it seeks to generate proposals to strengthen the provision of services in each region of the country
