Project Details
Description
The digital transformation process is a fundamental force driving innovation, economic modernization and social advancement and presents a formidable challenge and an opportunity for economic and social development. The strategic orientation advanced by our governments is paramount to mitigate the potential risks caused by the irruption of new technologies and to guarantee lasting economic and social benefits. Our research seeks to answer the question: What is the current state of institutional capacities, infrastructure, and human resources in the context of digital transformation in Colombia? This project adopts planning along three fundamental dimensions: infrastructure and technology, catalyzing the digitalization of business, focusing on how social entrepreneurs can create social value using digital technologies, and the role of governance and cross-sector collaboration in creating a digital ecosystem that promotes social and economic development.
