    El deficit de alfa 1 antitripsina (DAAT) puede generar alteración pulmonar llevando a no tener control de enfermedades como es el asma de difícil tratamiento, no tenemos en Colombia la prevalencia de las mutaciones genéticas presentes en el DAAT en pacientes adultos con asma de difícil tratamiento por lo que se decide realizar un estudio de tipo transversal para determinar la prevalencia de DAAT teniendo 5 centros en el territorio nacional.
