    Description

    La broncoscopia es un procedimiento ampliamente utilizado en la mayoría de los centros hospitalarios del mundo especialmente para el diagnóstico de enfermedades pulmonares infecciosas, inflamatorias y tumorales, pero desafortunadamente, la broncoscopia puede propagar infecciones por diseminación en un mismo individuo, por infección cruzada entre pacientes o contagiando al personal involucrado en el procedimiento. Reconociendo que el broncoscopio es un instrumento de diagnóstico y que este debe cumplir las expectativas del neumólogo broncoscopista, por esta razón parte la necesidad de evaluar la percepción de este frente a la calidad del instrumento. Este es un estudio transversal realizado en 21 unidades de neumología en España con el objetivo de validar el Cuestionario De Calidad Del Broncoscopio BBQ (Bronchoscope Quality Questioinnaire) y conocer la percepción del broncoscopista sobre la calidad del dispositivo.
