Validez De Los Cuestionarios Lfq, Copd-Ps, Cdq, Puma E It Be Copd Para El Diagnóstico De La Epoc

Project: Project Research

Project Details

Description

Layman's description

Background: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a frequently sub-pathology that is misdiagnosed worldwide. Failure to diagnose the disease can lead to delays in adequate treatment measures for patients. The use of standardized and validated questionnaires or computer models that recognize patients with COPD medical records can be a valid tool to improve the diagnosis of the disease. Objective: To determine the Validity of the LFQ, COPD-PS, CDQ, PUMA, IT BE COPD Questionnaires and in a second phase with the engineering group determine the validity of a support model in the decision-making of the diagnosis of COPD.Materials and Methods: A project divided into two phases will be carried out, in the first one the development of a systematic review of the literature of the diagnostic performance of questionnaires for the detection of COPD and a diagnostic test study with the use of the LFQ, COPD questionnaires -PS, CDQ, PUMA and IT BE COPD compared against spirometric criteria of COPD and a second phase to validate an algorithm and / or semi-automatic text tool for the diagnosis of COPD, the diagnosis of the disease was considered as a FEV1 relationship / CVF
