Intereses de la investigación
David Celeita is an Electronic Engineer with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has held several research positions, including visiting researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, postdoctoral researcher and visiting research fellow at Université Paris-Saclay / CentraleSupélec, and visiting researcher at KU Leuven, Energyville. He has professional experience as an automation engineer in low and medium voltage applications. Dr. Celeita has published over 30 articles in indexed journals, specializing in fault location, energy systems optimization, and the monitoring, protection, and control of power grids. Currently, he is an Associate Professor and Director of Outreach and Engagement at the Faculty of Engineering, Universidad de La Sabana, Chía, Colombia. His research interests include power system protection, smart grids, advanced distribution automation, real-time simulation, optimization-based decision-making, and the application of artificial intelligence for fault detection, and digitalization of energy infrastructure.
