Resumen

The main objective of this research study is to determine the effect of a digital educational material on the learning of the brachial plexus in physiotherapy undergraduate students. A mixed methodological quasi-experimental approach with a descriptive scope is applied. The sample consists of two groups (n1=31 and n2 =38), for a total of 69 students. The results show that the integration of digital educational materials contributes to the appropriation of concepts related to complex anatomical structures such as the brachial plexus. A statistically significant increase is obtained in the two groups participating in the study. It is concluded that if digital educational materials are to be integrated into the teaching of anatomical structures, an adequate process of didactic transposition should be performed while reviewing in detail the cognitive load that their autonomous study implies for students due to the high demand that their study requires.
